Rescue information

The Newfoundland Club of America Charitable Trust is now providing coverage for rescue in Texas and many other surrounding areas. Below is information for the Texas branch of the NCA Charitable Trust.

 Newfoundland NCA Rescue – Texas

Newfoundland NCA Rescue – Texas is a regional representative of the Newfoundland Club of America Rescue Network.

Our mission is for every Newfoundland dog to have a home as wonderful as the breed itself.

We handle the surrender of Newfoundlands in Texas and neighboring states. We accept surrenders from private parties, other rescue groups, and government agencies.

While in rescue, our Newfoundlands are checked by a veterinarian, their temperament and behavior evaluated by an experienced Newfoundland volunteer or professional behaviorist. Our dogs are adopted out spayed/neutered and up to date on all vaccinations.

We do adopt throughout the United States. We prefer families have an enclosed yard and are able to commit to the development and wellbeing of the Newfie they adopt. The needs of the Newfoundland and the prospective owners are carefully considered in order to make the best match, with the goal of placing the Newfies in a home with caring people who will make them a lifelong family member.
